Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 2026
This policy explains what information floridacarcamping.com collects, why, and what you can do about it.
Who runs this site
Florida Car Camping (floridacarcamping.com) is operated by Second Act, based in Florida, United States. You can reach us at [info]@floridacarcamping.com.
What we collect
Information you give us. If you sign up for our email list, we collect your email address. If you contact us or submit a correction, we collect whatever you choose to put in that message.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we collect standard technical data when you visit: your IP address, browser type, device type, the pages you view, how long you stay, and the site that referred you.
We do not ask for or want your date of birth, government ID numbers, payment card details, or precise location. If you send us any of that, we'll delete it.
Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and comparable technologies for:
- Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages people find useful. It sets cookies that help distinguish one visitor from another.
- Advertising. We display ads through third-party advertising partners. Those partners may set cookies to measure performance and, depending on your settings and location, to show you more relevant ads.
- Affiliate tracking. Some links carry a tracking code so a retailer knows we referred you. That code lets them credit us for a purchase.
You can refuse non-essential cookies through our cookie banner, and you can clear or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking them won't stop you from reading the site.
Advertising partners
We work with third-party advertising networks. These partners may use cookies, web beacons and similar technologies to collect information about your visits here and to other sites in order to measure and serve advertising.
Google is one such vendor. You can opt out of personalized advertising through Google's Ads Settings, and out of many other vendors at optout.aboutads.info or youronlinechoices.eu.
We do not control these partners' own privacy practices and we'd encourage you to read their policies.
Affiliate links
Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. We participate in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program and other affiliate programs.
Clicking an affiliate link passes a referral code to the retailer. It does not pass your name, email, or anything else we hold about you — we don't have that information to pass unless you've given it to us.
If you subscribe, we use your email address to send you what you signed up for and nothing else. We don't sell, rent, or share email addresses. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes you permanently.
How long we keep things
Analytics data is retained according to our Google Analytics settings. Email addresses are kept until you unsubscribe. Correspondence is kept as long as it's useful and then deleted.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Know what personal information we hold about you
- Request a copy of it
- Ask us to correct or delete it
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information
- Opt out of targeted advertising
California residents have these rights under the CCPA as amended by the CPRA. Florida residents have rights under the Florida Digital Bill of Rights. Visitors from the EU and UK have rights under the GDPR.
We don't sell personal information for money. Some ad and analytics cookies may count as "sharing" for targeted advertising under some of these laws, and you can opt out through our cookie banner.
To exercise any right, email [info]@floridacarcamping.com. We'll respond within the timeframe the applicable law requires, and we won't treat you differently for asking.
Do Not Track
Some browsers send a Do Not Track signal. There's still no common standard for responding to it, so we don't respond to DNT specifically. Use the cookie banner instead — it does something.
Children
This site is intended for adults. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we'll delete it.
Security
We take reasonable measures to protect the information we hold. No website can promise perfect security, and we won't pretend otherwise.
Changes
We'll update this page when our practices change and revise the date at the top. Material changes will be noted on the page.
